Akaline has perfected the art of changing her appearance with clothes or mannerisms alone. When Alaki is at a Noble's party she conducts herself as a proper female wizard, a well educated one. Alakine frequently wears silk dresses with rustling fabric and full skirts. On nearly all of her clothes a red rose is skillfully embroidered on the hem, sleeve, or front. Her dark brown hair cascades in a proud mane down her back and often is tamed with jeweled clips. Alaki stands tall but she uses small hand gestures and keeps her eyelashes down, she rarely challenges others and makes sure to uphold her family name, even if that means socializing with snakes. The back of Alaki's closet is charmed to not be immediately noticeable. It holds an array of pants and tunics unlike her 'normal' apparel, more comfortable and darker, with no embroidery and nothing identifiable aside from the black scarfs. When Alaki has the opportunity to slip into the more comfortable clothes for a less proper adventure she braids her hair back in a tight controlled style to be un-intrusiveness and leaves all her non-magicked jewelry at home. She still has correct posture but her arms are stronger and her stance more intimidating, her green eyes are keen and she lets no one question her wit or her leadership.
Personality:
Alaki is a kind girl although she can hide it well. She has a wizard's common air of superiority but she does generally care for the servant guilds, especially those in her care. That said Alaki doesn't like to keep many people in her employ, maybe a maid on occasions when she has let the house become to messy. Alaki lives in her own house on a stretch of land her Mother owns just outside the city. Alaki has no qualms about commissioning a amulet done for her or having a sorcerer do something useful, though she does take care to pay them well and try not to be to impatient about it. Alaki can act subservient but the truth is it rankles her to be ordered around and is prone to confrontation if the situation allows it though she does exhibit a commendable amount of self control. A fit of temper or rage is not unknown to Alaki, and mockery and sarcasm are well known friends to her, even in subtle uses. Alaki can be spoiled and arrogant but she also can be quite understanding and patient, she's a strong willed person but agreeable none the less.
History:
Alaki was the first born child to a wealthy family associated to the Red Rose, she got whatever she wanted as a child and rarely wished for anything except the ability to run and play like a normal kid that had no need for manners and court functions. Alaki's wishes came true with the birth of her brother Jake who was 5 years younger than her, he was the playmate she had dreamed of and she had only been truly angry at him once when he had made the mistake of scratching the inside of her palm, leaving a barely visible scar there. Neither Alaki nor Jake knew that he was born with a warrior's stone, only her mother knew who took great care to hide it. However on Jake's 5th birthday he started formal wizard training, he was expected to be extremely gifted as Alaki had been. His secret was discovered and their own father sold him to the White Rose trainers. Alaki no longer believes in tournaments, or the way servant guilds are treated. A wizard might be of nobler birth but that was no reason to treat others worse than animals. Alaki grew a temper and a habit of scorn and mockery though her mother worked with her to hide it.
Alaki's father was killed in his bed 2 years after Alaki's brother was killed at the age of 6, by his very own wife and child. However no one truly knows for sure who did it, and so Alaki and her mother remained free till a sickness robbed Alaki of her surviving parent and she was sent to live with her uncle who admired her deceased father.
Alaki moved out after growing more, she honed new skills and new pains, she also met Althea, the leader of the White rose who gave her a team of 5, one from every guild not including herself. Alaki can't help but love her job, any pain she can repay the White Rose for her brother's death is satisfying, even if it's done in secret.
