Appearance:
Jizabella (Jiza) and Jezabella (Jez) look like twins, in fact they are. They usually look exactly alike except for their clothes.
They have both often been told that they would do well as models with their slim figures, flawless tan skin, and glossy long brown hair. Each has barely a scratch on their face, no scars or marks or indents. For Jiza her perfect nose and green eyes are for flaunting, not humbly accepting and remaining inconspicuous with. Oh no she’s perfect and the rest of the known world needs to know it. Jez however believes the opposite lying low and not drawing attention is best. Hang hair, cover face, don’t look at people, just blend in as much as you can.
Jiza wears all black most of the time unless she wants to freak people out by wearing white or any other color she finds in Jez’s wardrobe. However all of Jiza’s clothes have a variety of chains, buckles, Velcro and silver buttons to make her look like more of a “punk.” Earrings and necklaces usually don’t count however and these objects are lacking from her array of accessories. However one thing that Jiza constantly wears is gloves; every day varies in color depending on what she’s wearing, but all go up to, and sometimes even past, her elbows. This is due to awful burns she has that trace from her inner elbow to her finger tips, steadily becoming darker as you reach her hands.
Unlike her sister, Jez likes to vary in color. Her wardrobe consists of dark greens, blues, white’s browns and purples. However there is not a single article of black clothing in or around her room. Jez also shares her sister’s dislike of ostentatious jewelry, but does occasionally wear small necklaces or earrings. Also like her sister, Jez always wears elbow length gloves that match her clothes and come in every variety of color and style. This is also for hiding the burns that both sisters have and don’t want anyone to know about.
Personality:
Jizabella:
Although Jizabella is a wizard and is suppose to be cunning and sneaky she is actually quite the opposite. Instead of relying on wit or patience she just prefers to win everything in an all out brawl or pounding with either physical force or magic. This may be odd and out of character for most wizards but because her sister is an elicitor she could never rely on magic for winning or ‘convincing’ people.
Jiza lacks patience along with secrecy, tact and awareness. Her direct and insulting behavior goes over with about everyone but her sister. Jez gets extremely aggravated when ever Jiza can’t see what’s right in front of her face and usually points it out to annoy her sister or doesn’t point it out to annoy her sister, which ever one works best at the time. However when ever Jiza is rude around her sister Jez will immediately set her straight with I quick hit with a binder or book.
Jiza has ego and sarcasm addictions among her many other problems. Jiza thinks she is better than any one else, besides her sister. Oddly enough, she does not think she is better because she is a wizard, this was drilled out of her by Jez when they were children. Jiza merely thinks she’s better because she’s Jiza and obviously that makes her wonderful and far more powerful than anyone else.
Yet again however her sarcasm is taken by everyone but her sister, who usually hits her unless it is towards someone else. Jiza knows this and uses sarcasm to antagonize her sister whenever this is safe. She loves to poke fun at her sister but Jez doesn’t always take it nicely and it sometimes ends in another fight between the twins.
Jiza rarely finds time to take off from fighting with her sister but when she does she spends time in her garden. Every arch, every curve and every plant in her garden was made designed and built by Jiza. She finds the automatic movements and motions and the breath of the plants relaxing and it helps her bleed of excess stress and anger at the world she lives in.
Jezabella:
Jezabella, unlike her sister, does fit the stereo type of a wizard. She is cunning, silent, tricky and persuasive; however she is indeed an elicitor. She learned these qualities in order to balance off with her sister’s personality, after all if there were two aggressive idiots around what would the world do with itself? Jez elected herself as her sister’s babysitter at a young age. She constantly worked at keeping her sister from starting fights by fighting with her at home instead, she faked calls to the school about her sister being sick when she skipped school, and over all just watched over her since their mother died.
Jez studies everyone around her, she just doesn’t show it. Anything and everything she sees is filed away in her mind in order to use it against people some day. She prefers to watch people flinch as she talks about things they thought nobody knew rather than beating them to a disgraceful pulp. She puts all the pieces together using inferences and guesses to establish a humiliating whole: and since High School has helped hone this talent she very rarely fails in this area.
Jez rarely talks and prefers to let her sister’s big mouth and empty head do the talking; she communicates herself through looks or sometimes through monosyllables if she feels like it. Jez prefers to sit in the shadows and wait although she doesn’t have a lot of patience, she just pretends she does. Usually in the presence of her sister people just write her off as a useless girl with a bright sister, never knowing how wrong they are.
The one thing that Jez can express her self through is her music. She loves to play piano and guitar and writes her own music when she has the time. Her music reflects her feelings, problems, and sometimes she can even channel excess magic she absorbs from her sister off into her songs.
History:
The twins were born a few minutes apart with Jezabella being officially born first. Their mother was a Wizard and their father is Anaweir. Their Mother, Sora, began to hope that Jezabella might be the one who had inherited her stone however when Jiza began making plates fly, Jez was quickly neglected. Sora began spending time solely with Jizabella until one day, when Jez wouldn’t cooperate, her mother tried to punish her with magic. When she was left weak and powerless before what she thought was her Anaweir daughter, Sora quickly realized that Jez could be just as useful as Jiza.
From then on Jiza and Jez began training together. Their mother made them go through attack and defense drills hurting them each in turn to motivate the other to try harder. Jez was taught to step in front of her sister to save her from spells. Jiza in turn was taught to send spells back at attackers. Jez learned how to drain people who tried to send wizard flame through her sister while not absorbing her sister. Jiza learned how to make some one writhe on the ground in pain.
They also began to learn hand to hand combat. This was for their own use as well as for their training. When ever they had arguments they learned to fight it out hand to hand instead of Jiza getting depleted and lying on the floor exhausted. Arguments and discussions were solved by evenly matched fights and whoever was the victor got their way in the issue.
At age 8 each of the twins could work together and around each other to defeat any wizard or gifted in their way. They could fight hand to hand with a vengeance and spell and drain any one with out a thought; and at last Sora had her own army that would never betray her. Jiza and Jez loved their mother, despite the pain and torture they had each suffered at her hand, both of them were too young to know or realize what their mother had done.
Then soon after, their Mother went to far. While sending Wizard flame through Jiza to motivate Jez to complete the already designed obstacle course quicker, Jiza fainted. The pain had become to much for her young body to stand. Jez immediately came to her sisters aid, and thinking she was dead she inadvertently released a burst of absorbed magic. The magic came out in the form of a small but powerful explosion. Quickly, the wall and the roof of the training area lit on fire. The fire quickly spread and burnt both of the twin’s arms severely from their hands to their elbows. Without a second thought Jez dragged her unconscious sister out of the building and into a nearby area as quickly as possible. However it was only after the fireman arrived and the fire put out that Jez, and the now conscious Jiza, realized that their mother had never gotten out of the building.
Soon their father went into a depression at the news of his wife’s death and soon pieced together the idea of the guilds and where his daughters fit into this hierarchy. However the knowledge that his wife was a wizard sent him into a fits of craziness while the twins watched helplessly, knowing that they could do nothing to help him. However the problem escalated when their father tried to strangle Jez one night in her sleep. He was raving about how the twins were demons, sent to murder his wife. Jiza only barely pulled him off Jez and the girls decided that Jiza should wipe his memory of the past few months. After they cleaned out his memory he returned to a state of normality and only slightly remembered the death of his wife. The twins were thrilled by their father’s splendid recovery, however it soon became apparent that the memory spell needed to be applied on a regular basis or their father would quickly fall back into madness.
For the past 8 years the twins and their father have been moving when ever the madness becomes too much and the rumors begin to spread. The twins take care of his memory and he makes a splendid living on being a well sought out engineer. Letting them live in exuberant comfort. Yet the twins still mourn the death of their mother and the loss of their normal father and live with the daily reminders of the ever present burns that will forever show on their arms.
