Looking up from the sefa in his hand, he turned to face Jez. She seemed bored with him sitting there in the middle of the carpet. This really didn’t surprise him, only Jiza had really talked to him, but the light snore coming from the couch told him that Jiza was sleeping off the effects of the afternoon. “Pull up some floor since Jiza took the couch.” Jez said after some reluctance. Moving over to the opposing wall he sat down, leaning against the wall, being carful to leave Darklights hilt away from the wall. For some reason he had this argue to tighten his grip on the sefa in his hand. It was as though Jez wanted the Sefa without knowing it, and he wasn’t going to give it up. What I am I thinking; she has no deal of what it is. The thought relaxed his grip on the sefa. “I really don’t know why you saved me from those wizards, but I am thankful. Though from what I‘ve gathered about you doesn’t mean anything to you.” She seemed only interested with the book in his hand, but even that was a ploy. Yes she was reading the book, but she was taking in every little detail around her. “Though I guess this means you won’t kill me… for now that is.” It also meant that he was at lest going to be able to do something other then hide, at least as long as the two where on his side. “Though it doesn’t mean that I trust you two, but like I said that probably means nothing to you. Though I must ask; what’s with all of this?” He said gesturing to there general surrounding. “It must have cost a fortune.” At that moment the elevator opened allowing the worker from the lobby to step out with a cart in front of him. The smell of pizza met is nose, as the worker delivered the cart to Jez. He seemed scared stiff and only wanted to leave. Shadow watched the whole exchange with interest. It only took a minute, but the worker practical ran out of the room. Shadow chuckled at the poor fellow as he fumbled with the buttons in the elevator. “Well that was entertaining.”

Jizabella and Jezabella Relinne No day is so bad it can't be fixed with a nap. He had something. Jez didn’t know what it was but he kept holding something. For once she was actually intrigued in about the boy who now sat in the middle of her house, if only for the fact that she wanted to know what he had.
A ding sounded as the elevator reached their floor and the waiter brought in the pizza. Jez never looked up from her book but the man, having heard the numerous rumors about them, quickly left. The pizza that sat gently on the floor was artfully made by the rich hotels many cooks. It was only a simple pepperoni pizza but it contained so many different kinds of seasonings it probably cost more than most meals. Actually, Jez thought smugly, it did cost more than most meals.
Grabbing one of the many slices she began to eat hungrily, barely registering the taste, continuing to read her book. After a few pages she looked up. “It did cost a fortune.” She waved her hand around to indicate the house. “Dad’s a successful scientist, rich, but all he does is work so…” She shrugged, still not used to talking to people, even if it was supposedly ‘small talk.’ The topic was a touchy one as well since even before the spell Jiza put on him he had secluded himself from his daughters. Not wanting her mask to break she buried her feelings and changed the subject.
“Jiza wanted to save you. I didn’t really care.” Jez struggled with her large vocabulary to express the meaning behind her words. Jiza was so much better at this. “We aren’t… normal. Well I’m sure you guessed that…” she paused, flicking another page in her book to give her self time to put together a sentence. “We aren’t even normal for……. gifted people. You see, we tend to expand on our knowledge.” She turned slightly to look at Jiza, hoping she was awake so she could take over the conversation. A soft snore reached her ears before she even finished her turn and she quickly looked back at Shadow. “We learned to fight when we were little and Jiza thinks you could teach us something because you are a Warrior.” Jez shrugged turning the next page in her book to reveal an intricately drawn Chinese letter. She studied it closely before turning the page again.
Grabbing another slice of pizza Jez continued. “Like I said earlier, I didn’t care. But now.” Her eyes looked up and rested on Shadow’s sword and then on him. “Well now I am…… quite interested.” She grinned at him. Not a simple smile of reassurance or kindness or even boredom, but a smile that betrayed a greed for anything unknown to her. She read him much as she would a book, searching for anything of interest that could be of any intellectual value to her. Eventually there would be nothing left to learn and she would lose interest and, as she did with her used books, she would throw him away. The smile disappeared quickly under the mask forged from years of silence.

“You find me of interest. You’d just as much read me as though I m a book.” He said smug, “Though you don’t have to numb down the words. You aren’t the only person in the world who reads. By and by, you don’t talk to people much.” It was a statement, not a question. Her words said as much as well as her reluctance. Though now she seamed to have realized he held the Sefa. But what would she want with it? He reached over grabbing a piece of the pizza on the floor. There was something else though that was bothering him. She had changed the subject to fast from her father to that of his question. He had heard the small note of bitterness in her voice aimed at her father. Was there something she was hiding? He felt like he was forgetting something, something that was the missing piece to this puzzle. Then it came back to him like a boulder slamming into him. How had he missed it, they had shuddered when he told them about Kevin, as though it was there own story. But what if it was, but not with there mother, but there father. Kevin would have used it on there Father; he could not stand the ideal of people caught in the cross fire suffering. “If you want to know what’s in my hand, all you have to do is ask.” His mind made up. “It’s a sefa, a sefa of mind. It allows its welder the ability to control someone’s mind. Legend says it can cure madness and make any spell of the mind permanent…and that it could return anyone to a privies state that is along as it’s a mental. It was what my friend had spent his life looking for. It was to cure his mom. He found out about it in an old book of sefas. It took him years just to find the last book with a reference of it.” He sat there waiting for her reaction. He was taking a big chance and he knew it.

Jizabella and Jezabella Relinne Today I felt pass over me A breath of wind from the wings of madness. Jez’s breath caught in astonishment and disbelief. The words coming out of this odd boy’s mouth were almost unbelievable. A sefa that solidified mind magic?
That was it?? Jez thought disappointedly. That’s what he was so bent on hiding over there. She almost burst out laughing for the second time to day except that she didn’t want to wake up Jiza.
Jez let her mask slip away as she looked up from her book on Calligraphy into Shadow’s eyes that so resembled stone. Her mouth twisted up revealing all of her teeth and her eyes widened. She knew that the smile on her face looked insane.
“That’s it?” she said quietly, scorn behind her voice and her voice ringing clear like a small bell. “We found one of those things years ago. We were twelve if I remember correctly. It doesn’t work.” She slid her mask back on and thought about how to explain their predicament to this ignorant, idiotic boy. “Our father is much the same as the boy’s mother. However he did not lose his grip on reality due to finding out the Weirs actually existed. He lost his mind because of us. Of Jiza and me.”
She still remembered the look of his face when the twins had walked out of the fire. He had called them demons and all other sorts of names. She had been hurt, like he had physically hit her or stabbed her. Jiza had felt much the same. They had instantly fixed the problem before the firemen arrived but he had never been the same. He had secluded himself even more and the twins were forced to avoid him in order to keep the spell in place. At first it had hurt them to see their only living parent like a walking zombie, devoid of almost all emotion.
However Jez honestly didn’t care anymore. She had stopped caring long ago. When ever she searched her heart for some kind of feeling towards him she felt nothing. Just as she did with everyone else. He bored her as much as most people. The only person she found that she had any compassion and true love for was Jiza.
Jez returned to the conversation and continued, “When we used it on him it was still worn away because he has to see us. We would just set the spell and leave but were only seventeen and until we graduate high school we have to stay with him and get the money we’ll need for college. So we stay…” Jez shrugged while looking down at her book.
A rustle behind her altered Jez to her now awake twin. She felt something soft brush the top of her head and registered that Jiza had lightly patted her head with her gloved hand. Turning slightly so Shadow couldn’t see her face Jez looked up into Jiza’s face. They flashed each other a smile. Jez’s was one of relief as Jiza would soon take the conversation with Shadow. Jez wouldn’t have to deal with it. Jiza’s smile was one of anticipation as she hoped that Shadow would help them with fighting.
Jez stood quickly, her back stiff with relief at the release of talking. Her only farewell was in the backward glance of longing that she directed to Shadow’s sword that still sat by his side. She was hidden form view as she turned into the blank white hallway. A few moments later a door closed softly down the hall as she entered her room.
Jiza didn’t watch her twin go and simply turned to Shadow instead. “I heard some of what Jez said.” She stretched as her large collection of chains jangled at the sudden movement. She brought her hands down to her hair to begin pulling it back in a tight ponytail. “So will you do it? Will you teach us?” she couldn’t stop the anxious sound of her voice and she didn’t bother to even try. Finishing with her hair she brought her hands down to her lap then grabbed a piece of pizza from the still hot pizza tray. She quickly mauled it and it disappeared down her throat. “Will you?"

So his guess had been right there father was under a spell of memory. Well, well, this is going to be interesting. “When we used it on him it was still worn away because he has to see us.” the words came back. How had though Found beta, Kevin had once shown him the book of Sefas he had. When he had came across the sefa he had learned that there where two, Alpha and Beta. Beta was said to be less powerful then its twin, alpha. Beta could do the same things as Alpha, but Beta could be undone. Alpha effects could not, no matter what. “So will you do it? Will you teach us?” Jiza words rang with anxiety. They really wanted to learn to fight. For what ever reason, they seemed it would give them a better chance over the other wizards in the world. Granted it would if it ever came down to a physical fight, but most fights with wizard just didn’t. He sighed; the look in her eye told him she would not give up. They had been trained, he had seen as much in the way they had acted this afternoon, but not for hand to hand combat. “You know the weird thing is that the more I hear about the two of you the more your lives seem so different yet the same to my own. It like in are own ways that we went through the same pain.” He looked her straight in the eye. “Your hell bent on this. To any one else it would be impossible to teach them. But that pain you and your sister have faced and survived…no, conquered has made you two strong.” He took one deep breath, slowly exhaling. “And for that reason I will teach the two of you how to fight. But you get one warning; if you truly want to learn, I will show no mercy. Girls are not, fights a fight and it gets bloody in the weir world.”

OOC: >.< Please stop trying to fix their dad. I love him being messed up!!!! Oh and sorry this isn’t the best post, long but not good. I wanted to post back!!! Jizabella and Jezabella Relinne Gardening is about enjoying the smell of things growing in the soil, getting dirty without feeling guilty, and generally taking the time to soak up a little peace and serenity. Jiza breathed a sigh of relief when Shadow said he would teach them. They had both been black belts in three different martial arts and masters in fencing, and bow staff for five years now, but being trained, or even helped, by a Warrior would be different. Harder somehow. Being taught by someone who had actually used their skills for fighting would be new because he would have adapted due to his experiences. She had fought dead warriors, ghosts, before. All the time she had to resort to wizardry because of their heightened speed and strength. However over the years Jiza had brought herself up to a level of where only a few spells were needed in order for her abilities to match the ghost’s. Jez was different. If she fought the ghosts she destroyed them. If they tried to use their strength or speed around her it left them as limp transparent bodies, devoid of almost any power and struggling to breathe. If the fought with weapons Jez would finish them off quickly. If they fought with only their hands, Jez would laugh and walk away after she beat them. She thought that everyone, ghost or not, was below her and she should not dirty her hands unless it was absolutely necessary. She fought, and killed, more with her sword.
The twins fought each other as well, when they had an argument they would fight, and whoever won was ‘right’. It was fun to fight her sister because they were evenly matched and the fights could often go on for hours at a time. They knew each other too well to be easily beat by the other. It was Jiza’s second favorite pass time.
“I’d like to see you fight Jez. You wouldn’t think girls were weak then.” She said it off handily, not even paying attention to what she said. “She’d whoop you.” Standing quickly her light brown hair rustled slightly and her dark black gloves went slightly down her arm. No harm though. Jiza had made sure they were a few inches longer than necessary just in case they slipped down. Rubbing absently at her wrist she could feel the rough skin where her burns were.
Catching a few notes of music Jiza beamed up at the ceiling. She padded softly on the thick white carpet despite having thick combat boots on. Reaching the glass panes that led out to the pool she grasped an almost transparent slit in the glass to pull it forward. It had no hinges but had been specially designed into the ceiling and floor so as to remain inconspicuous.
As she walked outside she called behind her. “Come on. You’ll get a tour of the greatest part of the house.” Honestly she didn’t care if Shadow came but courtesy demanded that she offered. The water glittered blue as it reflected the similarly colored tiles at the bottom. The pool was at least as large as the living room she had just left and had a gray stone walkway surrounding it. The area around the pool was sadly lacking in flora and no one could see the city beyond because of the large 13 foot wall that surrounded the entire pool area.
Small notes of music drifted down from the roof of the building.
Looking to her right she could see a small rickety ladder that was just on the edge of the building. From inside you couldn’t even see it but the moment you turned the corner it was the only décor that could be seen.
Walking around the pool she turned the corner and began climbing the ladder. Her chains jangled as she moved swiftly form step to step and she didn’t worry about slipping. Her body had climbed up this thing too many times for it to let her fall now.
The ladder stopped just above the wall and Jiza could see down to the honking horns and steam below. The notes had been growing louder and louder as she climbed the ladder and had peeked as she heard a sweet, but complex lullaby being played from a piano. Turning away from the city Jiza took a deep breath from the oxygen that filled the place. All around her was a beautiful array of colors. Mainly green but flowers grew everywhere, giving the green house large flashes of red, blue, yellow and all the other colors of the rainbow. The hanging plants and grounded flower beds had grown to form a maze in which hundreds of different plants were hidden. They ranged from peppers and tomatoes to the Venus fly trap and orchids. Jiza tended to all of them, alone, with no help. All of the plants were covered by an enormous glass ceiling that was kept up by sporadically placed poles and magic. The color that came through was clear and white as it fell on the plants. All in all the flat roof of the hotel had been transformed into a gigantic greenhouse that was hundreds of square feet.
Absently removing all the chains from her clothing and buckling a large belt that held different pruning and digging tools, Jiza began to hum along with the soft piano music. The plants she raised formed a large labyrinth that ended in a circle pavilion at the center of the roof. This was where the piano was. Moving along the long lines of plants she began to check each one for limp leaves or signs of any kinds of illness. She moved swiftly simply because she had done this check so many times. Time passed slowly to Jiza as she blocked out the rest of the world and turned her attention only to her beautiful plants. Tomato needs more water. Orchids need more compost. I should give the roses more sun……
Taking turn after turn in the labyrinth she cared for every plant she passed until she arrived to the center. A large white pavilion, circular, was filled only with a large black grand piano, and Jez.
Hands flicking across the entire keyboard Jez played an 18th century lullaby. The melody was complicated and the music changed from conjunct notes and disjunct notes to a soothing rhythm. Jez never looked up. Much as plants were Jiza’s thing, music was Jez’s. She loved the puzzle of putting notes together to make a sound that inspired emotion. Jiza secretly thought it was because she didn’t understand some emotions that she loved music so much. It could help explain feelings in a language Jez understood. “It’s beautiful.” Jez said quietly. She played the last few notes of the song as they faded out into the left side of the piano. “How’s the weepy warrior?”
Jiza shrugged, assuming he was in the maze some where. The turns were complicated but all paths led here so hopefully he would get to the pavilion eventually.
Jez played the next song, a halting harmony mixed with ominous low notes to symbolize fear. “He’s intelligent, if annoying. I would like to know what rebel organization he works for, it could be useful to have connections with them later. They might be able to provide us with more pieces of waste to dispose of. I do get so bored.” Jiza smiled at Jez’s name for people of the Weir.
“Here,” Jiza offered her sister relief from boredom. “I’ll go find him and you can ask him yourself.” Jiza turned quickly and began taking random twists and turns about the maze. She stopped occasionally when she saw a plant that looked a little under watered. I’ll run into him eventually, she thought.

A small smile touched the corner of his mouth. Jiza thought he meant that girls where weaker then guys, when all he meant was that he would not hesitate to hurt them. He saw no reason to discriminate against girls, only to discriminate by actions. And from what he’d seen they where anyone’s equal in the art of combat. Though let them think that’s what he meant, if that’s what they thought. And to be completely truthful he didn’t feel like correcting Jiza assumption. “Come on. You’ll get a tour of the greatest part of the house.” Jiza said turning on her heals. She opened the door of the pool open, the glass sliding silently. She continued to follow the gray tile laid in a path around the pool, never stopping to see if he’d followed her. She turned down a hallway leading to an old ladder. Following her a sweet sad tune reached his ears, giving him pause. The creaking of the old ladder alerted him to Jiza ascending to the roof. Quickly he ascended after her. The first thing her saw was color, every color of the rainbow filled the green house. It easily covered the whole roof. Jiza was long gone, but the melody was still there, so strong and bitter sweet, emanating from the center of the huge garden. Entering the winding paths of the garden he saw so many different types of plant where housed there. The notes died off as the song ended, yet he kept walking with no particularly destination in mind, just following the complicated paths. For only a few minutes did the room remain mute, a dark and ominous song began to play, filling the garden with its notes. Yet again he followed the music towards the center of the room. Finally breaking clear of foliage he saw a circular elevated platform. Painted white, a large black grand piano stood. Jezs fingers flow across the keys her eyes closed as the music captured her. Shadow silently sat down at the end of the clearing, closing his own eyes as he listened to the song. Slowly the song ended, and he opened his eyes. “You do realize you’re an amazing Piano player?” he said finally breaking the silence.

Jizabella and Jezabella Relinne Music can noble hints impart, Engender fury, kindle love, With unsuspected eloquence can move, And manage all the man with secret art. “Yes.” Jez replied simply without turning. “I know I’m a great pianist. I have been since I was nine.” She turned the page again with her gloved hand and began to play. She improvised many notes that she thought would sound better and the once hurried sound transformed into one with fear. By playing flats or sharps that were a few notes down it became scattered but she still kept a structured organization that gave the impression of sophistication. After she finished the song she turned in her seat to glance swiftly to where Jiza had disappeared.
A small thump sounded as the lid to the piano was closed and Jez gathered her sheet music. The raised white platform the piano was on had only one small stair case of a few steps that Jez now walked down. Her jeans swished slightly as they hit the steps and she grimaced.
“Do you like it? The garden that is.” Jez really had no liking of plants but Jiza was a wonder with them. “She does it all herself, no magic used unless it’s to water the plants while we’re away or to keep the ceiling up.” She shrugged at Shadow to express her opinion of plants.
The first time Jiza had tried to grow plants with magic they flourished at first as their growth excelled to minutes rather than the months it would usually take plants to grow. However the moment Jiza had stopped feeding them a constant stream of magic, they had wilted and died instantly. Jiza had tried to nurse them back to help but they refused to be revived. Ever since Jiza had refused to use magic on her green house and nurtured each and everyone by hand.
Suddenly she knew how to get what she wanted. “What rebel organization do you work for?” she paused, smirking at the idea of rebels. “Normally I wouldn’t care but it would give us a chance to kill more of the Weirs then I care. As long as we get payment.” She walked slowly to one of the entrances to the pavilion and looked down the plant made corridor for Jiza. When Jez realized she wasn’t there she turned back to Shadow and shrugged. “It is just a suggestion, but if you tell your boss and he accepts the proposal we’ll be happy to help. We have connections to informants in the Black Market here and in other areas of the U.S. It would be incredibly beneficial to our group.” Jez smirked and tilted her head. “And you of all people can vouch for our ability to kill.” After another glance behind her shoulder for Jiza she turned to Shadow. “So, what do you think?”

Shadow watched her as she continued to play, though he found it slightly weird that one so dark could play music so powerful. The tune so different yet so familiar, it brought back an old memory of him and his mother from when he was little. He cleared his head quickly at the memory slipping back into his waking thoughts. There where many memories he would have preferred to left hidden in the darkest depths of his mind. Things that still hunted him about his past, and the life he’d created for him self. “Do you like it? The garden that is. She does it all herself, no magic used unless it’s to water the plants while we’re away or to keep the ceiling up.” Jez said bring him out of his thought. “What rebel organization do you work for? Normally I wouldn’t care but it would give us a chance to kill more of the Weirs then I care. As long as we get payment.” Jez continued, “It is just a suggestion, but if you tell your boss and he accepts the proposal we’ll be happy to help. We have connections to informants in the Black Market here and in other areas of the U.S. It would be incredibly beneficial to our group. And you of all people can vouch for our ability to kill. So, what do you think?” And he knew for sure that they defiantly could kill any one they needed, and not get caught. That is there would be no one left to tell that they had done the deed. On top of that she had a point, having connections to many of the black markets in the country would allow them to get a hold of weapons’ and magical items easily… and keep them away from the Roses. “Agreed. I’ll talk to X, see what he says about this. Though from what I’ve seen he will take you up on that offer. The name of the rebel resistance I won’t tell you, cause as you put it earlier, it could give the enemy advantage.” Though for some reason the statement “As long as we get payment,” made him uneasy. “Just so X knows what ya’ll want as payment, what is it that you want? And from what I’ve seen you know just what you want.”

Jizabella and Jezabella Relinne The torment of precautions often exceeds the dangers to be avoided. It is sometimes better to abandon one's self to destiny. Jez’s hand moved to her hair and pushed some of the stray brown hairs behind her ear. They whispered like voices in her head as they rubbed against the hair that was tied back into a ponytail. Jiza was the one with words but Jez couldn’t tell her what she was planning so that she could explain it to Shadow.
Jez took a deep breath, inhaling the aromas of all the flowers around her. To be completely honest they made her want to vomit but it cleared her head enough to string her words together Looking down at her hand she began to count her main points, “Well, first we would want a fourth of any magical items we collect, however if there are doubles of things we already have then your group can have them. We would need someone to take care of our father if we went somewhere else since it is too hard to move him. We would like the Weir books of anyone we kill if we can find them and….” She had been ticking off the points on her fingers but now she looked Shadow directly in the eyes and smirked. She didn’t care whether he would want to do what she asked, no demanded, but if he didn’t then she wouldn’t help the rebels. “We would like you.” Realizing how weird the sentence sounded she added, “As a body guard, since we would need a connection to your group to make sure you guys don’t pick up and leave.” She paused, a wistful gleam in her eye, “and you could do my cleaning.” She paused for a moment more, thinking longingly of this new possibility of no chores. She hated chores; they were all so terribly tedious. If Shadow was forced to stay there then she could have him do them for her while she read.
Remembering the main point of him staying she came back to the conversation. “Oh and you would have to train Jiza and me in the fighting that we don’t already know.” Her hand reached out to touch a flower near her. It felt soft, like some of the expensive silks she owned in her closet. Ironically all of the silk things in her closet still had tags on them. “In return we can teach you basic spells most wizards use to stop a warrior and how to avoid them. We can also integrate you into the Black markets here, to help you build connections. We also have plenty of money and can help fund any of your rebel operations.” Pausing for a moment she looked eagerly up at the ceiling of the grain house. Rubbing one of her hands against her shoulder she thought anxiously of touring the world to kill scum.
Suddenly she felt a presence behind her and resisted the urge to turn to Jiza and breathe a sigh of relief. She knew Jiza hadn’t heard most of the conversation but as always she picked up quickly when it came to people, or talking.
Walking through the entrance behind Jez, Jiza brushed her hands against her jeans to get rid of any dirt. “You also don’t have to worry about us betraying you since when we leave you’ll be taking care of our only surviving parent.” She reached her hands behind her head to release the ponytail and let her fair brown hair fall around her shoulders. She didn’t like to look the same as Jez all the time. They both knew they were different people and liked to differentiate when they were together.
“You would have to live here though…..” Jiza frowned and closed her eyes trying to remember if they had an extra room. They did. “We have space and we can buy anything you need.” Jiza shrugged. “What ever you want. We don’t have limits when it comes to money.”

To him it didn’t matter if she answered or not, but it would satisfy his curiosity and give him something to tell X. she seemed reluctant to answer as though she was trying to figure out how to phase what see wanted. “Well, first we would want a fourth of any magical items we collect, however if there are doubles of things we already have then your group can have them. We would need someone to take care of our father if we went somewhere else since it is too hard to move him. We would like the Weir books of anyone we kill if we can find them and….” Jez said. And all she had said was well thought and it was beneficial to both of them. “We would like you.” The last request caught Shadow of guard. That was a very weird request. “As a body guard, since we would need a connection to your group to make sure you guys don’t pick up and leave.” Jez added probably realizing just how odd the statement sounded. “And you could do my cleaning.” She adds as an after thought, though by the way she said it, the ideal was a nice one. “Oh and you would have to train Jiza and me in the fighting that we don’t already know.” Jezs statement proving that the two had been trained to fight, which meant he could skip to advance fighting. “In return we can teach you basic spells most wizards use to stop a warrior and how to avoid them. We can also integrate you into the Black markets here, to help you build connections. We also have plenty of money and can help fund any of your rebel operations.” At the ideal of knowing the spells that wizards would use on him was appealing. All he knew about the spells wizards cast at him was that he had to stop them from completing them. And he was very good at that, though he usually used more permanent way of silencing wizards. Plus he’d seen first hand just how much money these two had at there disposal. Looking farther behind Jez he saw Jiza coming from the garden. “You also don’t have to worry about us betraying you since when we leave you’ll be taking care of our only surviving parent.” Jiza said as she took down her hair as well as taking over the conversation. And that was true as well, though the two apparently didn’t like there father, they still cared enough to take care of him. “You would have to live here though….. We have space and we can buy anything you need.” Jiza said. “What ever you want. We don’t have limits when it comes to money.” The thought of living in the same apartment as the two probably rarely did anything in general. “Sure, what ever. I’ll talk to X and see what he says, though for what your offering he will probably accept.” Even if it was just to give him something to do to keep him out of trouble. “Now for my own question; why do you want me for a body guard? I already agreed to teach you two, and I know for a fact that you two can take care of your selves. So why?”

Jizabella and Jezabella Relinne Who can hope to be safe? who sufficiently cautious? Guard himself as he may, every moment's an ambush. Jiza thought about the question for a moment, trying to think as Jez would. “Easy, we want to be able to use you as bait. Think about it. A warrior put in a school or the streets of New York. We just get to kill more.” She shrugged then turned out of the veranda. She caught Jez’s eye and smiled. Now they would be able to have more fun and travel around, what could be a better reward than that.
Jez led them out of the maze of flowers and to the rickety ladder. “Lady’s first,” Jiza murmured and climbed down to be swiftly followed by Jez. Jez hadn’t used the ladder to get to the green house since she had a set of stairs near her room that led up to beneath the piano. Sighing she gripped the ladder tightly. When she reached the ground she sighed happily. Turning to Jiza to speak se saw her sister’s stricken look. A look of pain actually entered into her expression and she cursed under her breath.
Jiza had guard and shield spells all over their floor including the air above and around. She had also put one in the elevator after an incident with a few angry Rose members. Jez figured the elevator was the one that now alerted Jizato the Wizard’s presence.
“Shadow the traders have followed us. They’re coming up the elevator.” Jiza reached up to tie back her hair since she didn’t like to cast spells without it out of her hair. Closing her eyes she whispered a spell to send the elevator back down. They could break through the spell but it would take a few minutes.
“Four wizards, two girls and two boys. Each has a Sefa and I do believe they have been instructed to only take Shadow alive.” Sighing sadly Jez looked at her sister. They both knew Jez would have to take care of this but to keep Shadow unaware of her power they had to take him away.
Jez left Shadow to Jiza and walked through the glass doors to the elevator. She watched the shiny silver doors and waited peacefully for the Wizards to come. It would hurt afterwards, exhaust her, and she would have to sleep a lot afterwards to release the energy without hurting herself or Jiza and Shadow. To calm herself she began to list the ways that Greek and Latin still influenced the structure of language around the World.
Back outside Jiza turned to Shadow and grimaced. “We’ve gotta go. For two reasons, we don’t want you to see Jez’s power.” She wasn’t going to lie to him about that, he seemed smart enough to figure out that they would want to hide Jez from most people. “But also because if she loses it we want to be as far away as possible.” Searching her spells she pointed to the ladder.
“Climb.” Jiza instructed Shadow; not wanting to waste more time by asking him, "we’ve gotta go.”

Shadow mentally sighed at Jizas answer. It was something he was getting quite use to, and surprisingly fast. Jez turned leading the three of them through the maze of passages in the garden. Coming to the ladder Jiza muttered something and climbed down first, closely followed by Jez. Reaching the edge he saw the look on Jizas face. Acting on prior knowledge, learned over the years of fighting, jumped straight from the roof to the floor below him. Hitting the floor, he had barely a second to stand completely up from the half crouch he had landed in before Jiza turned to face him. “Shadow the traders have followed us. They’re coming up the elevator.” Tying back her hair she mumbled a spell, buying them some time. “Four wizards, two girls and two boys. Each has a Sefa and I do believe they have been instructed to only take Shadow alive.” Jiza said finishing the spell. “I swear there so predictable. It’s always get the warrior.” Shadow said under his breath. Reaching for Darklight he heard Jez sigh. Jiza then turned on her heel to face him. “We’ve gotta go. For two reasons, we don’t want you to see Jez’s power. But also because if she loses it we want to be as far away as possible.” Her mind seemed to be miles away as she pointed to the ladder saying the one word command. “Climb. We’ve gotta go.” He grabbed the ladder climbing up as fast as possible. The warning in her words about her sister came through loud and clear. What ever Jezs power is, had a very nasty effect that could hurt the two of them badly. Moving as fast as possible he reached down pulling Jiza up behind him. Whether She wanted the help or not. She know exactly what her sisters power could do and where they where going. “Lead the way.” He said never turning around. He could ask her about the “effects” of her sisters’ powers later.

She sighed in relief when he began to climb the rickety old ladder. If there was only one time Shadow would listen to her she was glad it was now. She grabbed the ladder as well and quickly began to follow him up to the roof. She blocked out the sounds of cars below and focused on where the elevator was. It was slowly rising again, the Wizards attempting to battle her magic.
Once they reached the top of the hotel Shadow turned to say “Lead the way” She turned to the maze and began walking swiftly through the entrance and weaving in and out of turns. However the beautiful garden was not even forgotten in Jiza’s current state of worry. She wanted her sister to be ok but still she longed to stop and check the flowers or go to the water source and make sure all was well. Forcing herself on through the maze she avoided the veranda and reached the very edge of the garden. Here were the orchids, the plants that were among Jiza’s favorites. Many people hated them because they were parasites that fed off of other trees, but they were Jiza’s favorites. She didn’t blame them because they could not help being what they were.
Turning away from the orchids she whispered under her breath to make a dome appear above Shadow, herself and the orchids. It glittered faintly in different colors and Jiza plopped down on to the concert next to one of the orchids. “Now we wait.” She said quietly while turning to check the nearest orchid’s leaves.

Jez stood in front of the elevator, breathing slowly through her nose. When she heard the elevator ding her eyes flicked quickly open. The elevator doors slid slowly open to reveal four people, two girls and two boys, all looked easily under the age of twenty-five but Jez knew looks could be deceptive when it came to Wizards. Their glow was bright to Jez, they were easily strong and their confidence in themselves could be seen in the way they held themselves; wit straight backs and noses high in the air.
The two girls stood near the front, each with a Sefa in hand that glowed faintly white. They all tensed as the doors opened to revel Jez standing in the middle of the white living room. They are expecting something much worse then I appear to be. The boys near the back of the elevator force, glancing around the room looking for any threat besides the small teenager that stood before them, “This will be easy!.” One of the girls, a brunette with a malicious gleam in her eye held her hand palm out towards Jez. Whispering words under her breath the palm began to glow with an unearthly light, almost black in color. It shot from the palm to fly directly at Jez. Smiling, Jez mirrored the girl mockingly by holding her hand palm out to catch the streak of light. The brunette managed one confused squint of her eyes before the darkness hit Jez. She could feel the line of power coming from the girl through her magic. She internally tugged on the thread and saw the girl double over and gasp. I’ve got you. Pulling completely on the string she felt the girls power give way and fall into her. The brunette fainted completely and with the last awareness the magic had given her, she felt the girl’s life-force flicker and begin to fade.
Opening her eyes she saw the three remaining wizards stare in horror as their partner sank to the ground with only a single strangled scream. One of the boys, a brunette like the girl, and since they shared similar features, Jez ventured a guess that he was her brother, yelled in fury and threw quick darting lights of flame form his palms. Jez allowed these to hit her as well and when she tugged on his magic it came lose instantly. Well, he wasn’t that strong, not compared to his sister at least. The two reaming Wizards stared at her cautiously aware that their colleagues were lying on the floor, one dead and the other soon to join her in death.
Wary of Jez, the remaining boy whispered words that caused a bubble to appear around her, supposedly to keep her contained. Reaching her hand out she pushed the barrier with an almost bored flick of her hand. Finding the thread she yanked harshly on the boy’s magic. That’s what you get for trying to cage me! A pleasant hum filled her ears and she knew that the magic she was absorbing was getting to be quite lot. She would need to release it soon or suffer the consequences. Knowing a way to release it without harm to herself Jez bundled the magic up into a orb the size of a tennis ball. Focusing the stolen magic she lifted her palm much as the first brunette girl had.
Feeling the power from her palm the last girl asked one question before the energy flew towards her. “What are you?”
The dark colored ball enveloped her in flames that charred even her bones almost instantly.
Four Wizards, fully trained. I don’t think I’ve ever had this much inside of me.Despite her magical release on the girl she still teemed with the others magic. Exhausted she slumped against the floor and undid her hair slowly, tin order to keep her from becoming nauseous. I have to sleep. Suddenly Jez tilted overran collapsed on the floor, unconscious

Jiza, having sensed that the energy releases in the house had stopped, stood instantly and waved her hand to disperse the shield. “Come on! Let’s check on Jez!!!” Hurling herself through the garden she quickly reached the ladder and almost slipped off in her rush to get down. When she circled the pool outside to get to the glass doors she could already see the three bodies lying motionless on the floor as well as a fourth that breathed shallowly. Jez is fine. She told herself sternly, at an attempt to calm her breath.

“Come on! Let’s check on Jez!!!” Jiza seemed in frenzy to check on her sister who only minutes before had seemed so intent on keeping them safe from the effects, what ever they may be, of Jezs powers. But he had felt it to, the release of a large amount of magic. Though the feeling it had given him was different, it was as though the magic had been drained then used. Even in his mind it made no sense. His parents my have hoped to keep him out of this world, but they had taught him how to sense the presence and release of magic. His mother had been a wizard, his father an enchanter, so the different feels of magic where normal to him. But never in all his years of sensing magic had it ever felt like this, as though it had in some way been filtered. Racing after Jiza through the twisting passages of the garden he fallowed never stopping to jump down to the floor below. Jiza was already there relief, shown in her face at the sight of her sister unconscious on the floor. Three bodies laid there around her in pools of there own blood. The forth wizard was incinerated down to the bone This was just normal to him. Casualty of the war they had created by controlling the other guilds. . Shadow walked over to where Jez laid on the floor not even bothered by the bodies. Kneeling next to Jez he made sure she wasn’t injured. “She wasn’t hurt if the fight. But from the looks of it she may be out for sometime.” Sanding back up he turned to face Jiza, “ now if you won’t tell me Jezs power, which I understand, will you at lest tell me what this side effect Jezs power that not only knocks her out but, puts us at danger by being around her when thing s like this happen.” He said as he gestured to the four bodies on the floor.
